Så här mitt i galasäsongen, mellan Golden Globe och Oscargalan, kan det kanske passa att tänka i genom garderoben. Marc Jacobson vet vad som går hem.

Jacsobson, som till vardags är Facebooks chef för marknadsutveckling, driver modebloggen ”Focus on The Donut”. The Hollywood Reporter har frågat honom vad som passar bäst på röda mattan. Marc tipsar om allt från resväskan från Globe Trotter, över Belgian Shoes till den perfekta autografpennan.

”The social network” och ”The king’s speech” kammade hem flera nomineringar när det avslöjades vilka som har chans att ta hem priserna under Golden Globe-galan i januari. Johnny Depp nominerades för två filmer – i samma kategori.

Rachel McAdams rosas för sin roll i den nya komedin ”Morning Glory”. Tim Appelo skriver i ”The Race” att en Oscarnominering nog sitter långt inne med tanke på konkurrensen, men tror på åtminstone en Golden Globe-nominering för rollen som Becky Fuller.

Rachel McAdams motspelerska i ”Morning Glory”, Diane Keaton, gjorde succé i rollen som Annie Hall i Woody Allen-klassiskern från 1977. Appelo anar att McAdams kanaliserar Keatons Oscarsbelönade rollprestation i Becky Fuller. Men hon ”gör en smartare Annie Hall”, skriver han.

”Morning Glory” i korthet: När den hårt arbetande TV-producenten Becky Fuller (McAdams) får sparken från ett lokalt nyhetsprogram börjar hennes karriär se lika blek ut som hennes händelselösa kärleksliv. Av en händelse råkar hon få jobb på ”Daybreak” (det minst sedda av de nationella morgonprogrammen), och bestämmer sig genast för att återuppliva programmet genom att anställa legendariske nyhetsankaret Mike Pomeroy (Harrison Ford). Dessvärre vägrar Pomeroy behandla stapelvarorna inom morgon-tv, såsom kändisskvaller, väder och mode. Inte heller vill han jobba med sin bisittare Colleen Peck (Keaton), en före detta skönhetsdrottning och veteran inom morgon-tv.
